Android media player more Ram better?

hello i've been looking for a newer media player than my Himedia Q5 i bought in 2015. looking at so many brands most have 2 gb Ram. found a couple including this model below has 3 gb ram but most have 2 gb ram. is more ram better and help with issues such as buffering ?

Buffering is a issue...
When the source is slow or your WiFi/lan/network is slow
or your are trying to watch hi bite rate hd vids .. and your CPU is doing the work

1gb ram - should only be used with libreelec/kodi (in my opinion)
2gb ram - android/linux/remixos
more is only useful when you run 64bit OS when multi tasking apps...like nougat or remixos multi window support

remember...the ram size is shared with the videocard and the operating system...what remains, is your limit

while this sounds logical and i know it does as i have a networking position working with networks i would think the buffer in the media player used to temporarily hold the file in memory while videos would work better with a larger buffer. ram would allow for more buffer space. what do you think?
