    7.1 Nougat Firmware - T95X

    Found this
    http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...u2-tv-box.html

Obviously its not intended for the T95X but it works perfectly on my T95X 2GB/16GB.

could you upload the mega or similar? one of the mirrors does not do free downloads over 525mb, and the other is hopelessly overloaded.

Ive only ever used Windows to edit roms but the "Amlogic Customization tool" cant unpack the kernel image (which is needed for rooting the image).
Am guessing the customization tool needs updating to deal with Nougat 7+ images, newest version i can find is 2.0.8, which is a little old now..

Certain this image could be fully unpacked, rooted etc via Linux but i've never really used Linux. may have to try Ubuntu on my spare pc.

anyone knows of an alternative for unpacking images or a newer version of Amlogic Customization tool, please let me know.

It seems that 2G RAM versions dont have any problem with this rom.
I think that may be because the u2+ uses similiar RAM to 2G T95x.

            Mine fails.
I have 1G Ram version. two PE029-125 F1606 RAM chips (1GB in total) by SpecTek.
These should be DDR3. Maybe it has something to do with DDR4 or some manufacturer difference.

I would need to search for 2G t95x boards and see which RAM they have.
Also maybe I need to dig in to modifying the IMG to make it compatible with the 1G version.

            Any help appreciated.

                4% if I remember correctly.
                Something with UBOOT and DDR.USB.
Maybe its because the cable is too long or my soldering joints are bad.

edit: I resoldered a shorter cable. Still same issue

Flashing stock image works again. For anyone looking for a Fix. My solution was to unplug the usb and then hold the reset button behind the headphone jack , press start button on Burning tool and replug the usb and then release reset.
                  It immediately passed 4%

                  edit:
Stock and Yundoo image from 4pda ru worked. However the u2+ fw gives same error
