I don't have a copy of the stock firmware it shipped with, however I did make a backup of the 'build.prop', 'default.prop' and 'remote.conf' files prior to me flashing Magendanz Beelink MX3 II/M8S II TV Stock ROM. It is running fine and I am happy with the Android TV look and feel. I have managed to restore the IR remote control functionality by restoring the 'remote.conf' file, however the power button shuts the device down as opposed to putting it into standby/sleep so to switch it back on as it doesn't have any physical buttons I must physically switch the power off and back on. In the stock firmware there was an option in settings where you could change the behaviour of the on/off button to shutdown or standby/sleep. In Magendanz Beelink ROM there is no such option.
My unit also features a 7-segment LED display on the front of the unit that showed the current time with the stock firmware when it was switched on. With Magendanz Beelink ROM the LED display is black.
Any pointers on how I can fix the remote power button issue?
Thanks
Andy
EDIT: Sorry about 10 minutes after posting this I found this - http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...ith-remote-fix Button '2' on the remote wakes it up...
Just need to find a way of enabling the from LEDs to display the time now...
