NEXTBOOK 6 Help With mods and stock rom

Hell freaktab, I'm used to xda but this site is just as awesome.
What I have is a nextbook next6 sn: YF021108208

And like a fool I went to load a cutom rom before backing up the stock img.

i've tried alot of the flashing tekniques here but with little sucsess.

I've been able to boot the device into sevral roms using RKAndroidDM tool but still no touch screen.

this nextbook has a capasitive touch screen from my research. I really at this point would like to just get the stock rom back on it for now. can anyone dump one for me?

also some help on maybe restoring the touch screen drivers would be just as helpfull.

Maybe it can be done through adb?!?

Just need to be guided in the right direction so I can stop chasing my tail!

Your going to need the stock ROM I am afraid. "Possibly if someone rooted can just copy off everything in /system you MIGHT get lucky and the drivers from there will work with maybe the nextbook 7 ROM (Kernel).

I hope some more NB6 folks show up and maybe we can walk them through dumping the ROM.

The Nextbook 6 is an RK28. Nextbook 7 is RK29. I found the original dump of the Nextbook 6 in a post on XDA, but it was uploaded to megaupload which the Feds closed down. Head over there and contact the poster, maybe he can upload it somewhere else for you.

I'll keep up any progress and tips as I get things working. I will write to the guy on XDA and see what happens. If I do get a rom dump I will upload it to a stable server. damn feds. INFORMATION BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE!

I've had no luck trying to locate this firmware. Did Nextbook ever get back to you?
