    Firmware upgrade = totally confused

    Hi all,
I own 2 beelink tv boxes: GT1 and MiniMXIII
I would like to upgrade the firmware of both boxes but I'm totally confused, I don't know what to do.
In the forum I see various firmwares and I don't understand what is right for me (I understood the difference between 9377 and 6255)
    For example:
I see 312MO and 111MO what is applicable for me, how to understand?
Where are the basic instructions to update? USB or SD update, how?

If I can suggest, it would be useful for newbie to have a sticky post having this basic informations.
    Thanks

Maybe this will help. Very easy to install different ROMs on you boxes.

Starting from your reply I understood that to upgrade via:
      1. USB - you need to use the Amlogic USB Burning Tool http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...ol-v2-0-8.html, connect the box to PC using usb male-male cable. Then reset the box using the little reset hole on bottom and then upgrade using the tool from pc
      2. SD from inside android GUI - the box must be connected to TV - firmware image is different from usb image
      3. SD resetting the box using the reset hole on the bottom - the box must be connected to TV - again firmware image is different from usb image

      Thanks for your help.

      Now the other question :-)
What is the difference between 312MO and 111MO firmwares? What is applicable for me?
      Thanks

Sigh, do you confirm that serial number starting with S912B is a 9377 chip?
        Thanks

No takes some work. Before upgrading open device box. Look at Wifi chip. (use phone camera on zoom they small. ) and check that ddr3 or ddr4 these boxes ship with both types not marked on outside. If you post photos of main board and wifi. Members can point you in the correct firmware and confirm that firmware will work with your device.

Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.
