multi window bug

Hi randy I flashed rileyrom1.2 tnx a lot. Multi window works great but if I turned off multi window I can't switch to another app by using the task switcher. I have to press home then task switcher in order to go to another opened app.

That same thing is happening on the M8 Pro firmware. Hopefully Pipo will fix this. I don't use multi window but I leave it turned on. It doesn't bother me to do so.

Go to settings. Its right there on the main settings screen.

Hi Randy, Can i try your rom v1.2? When will you post this rom? Is your rom support the multi windows function like the #328 rom from other forum?

BTW, thanks for the effort in creating rom for our U8.

I looked at all of those ROMs and picked the most recent.

As an experiment, I created a hybrid, putting all of my tweaks into the #328 version.

Please test and see if it works...and if it does, I will post v1.2

Thanks bro. I already flashed this rom. Mine don't have file manager upon flashing. I need to download one from play store. What is your antutu benchmark score for this rom? Mine got only 16895 compared to the #328 rom which is 17927. Overall works fine. Thanks.

Sorry, this ROM does not come with CWM, because there isn't a current CWM Recovery by Fun customized for this tablet...it is only stock recovery.

If you want, you can download the generic CWM from here.

CWM Generic

Extract recovery.img from the zip file and flash it in place of the recovery.img within the ROM kit.

When you first boot to CWM...clear the cache to format it...then reboot the tablet. You will need to go into settings and mount the NAND storage manually. It will give you an error that says "damaged storage" in the notification area. Just press that notification and choose format...this will manually prepare your NAND storage (internal SD).

Hi Randy, the integration of CWM Generic to the ROM kit is successful i just follow your instruction. How can i control this since there is no volume up and down control in U8?

Otherwise, sorry...it won't work unless we get a custom CWM for this tablet.

Yes, i tried to scroll up and down using touch screen but no luck. I also tried CWM touch screen but it did not boot. I'll just have to wait for the custom CWM or better a recovery by TWRP for this tablet. Thanks a lot.

I see. I reflash the ROM and the antutu result is now 17945 it's better than 16895.

Games like avengers, real boxing, nfs most wanted and hot pursuit, asphalt adrenaline are running smoothly with no lags.

Games that I can't play are dark knight rises ironman 3 and six guns, any advise?
