how do you hard reset this box? i cant figure this out?

I came across one of these and when I hook it up (HDMI) to my TVs it shows 'resolution' match error... I can't even view a menu to change it. There is no analog A/V port. the reset button pin hole is on the bottom but unlike my other boxes.. when I plug the power cable in it stays on red light.... am still looking for answers... but try the reset on yours.... unplug power cable from back... using paper clip or thin toothpick, push in reset hole on the bottom then plug power cable in... hold for about 30 sec... if light shows green or you see a menu on the tv after releasing the paper clip then you should be OK. pls report back here.
