T95x problem?

Just bought a t95x running android 6.0.1, kernel 3.14.29 (if that means anything? lol)
When I hook up HDMI directly to TV, no problem.
When I try to pass it through my Pioneer receiver, no signal. Just a blank screen. Am I missing something? My old box (mx3) worked through the receiver no problem.

Might be an HDMI handshake issue.

I've seen this myself and I tend to find the solution is to switch to a different port on the receiver and then switch back, where the HDMI signal is restored.

The other thing that springs to mind is that if your Android box resolution is set at a level that is outside of the scope of the HDMI ports on the receiver and the firmware does not support auto detection, then this may prevent an image being shown on screen.

yep....must have been some kind of handshake issue. works on hdmi input 2, rather than input 1 that i was using
