905x 2gb/16gb touch emulation with Tincore keymapper and War Robots

Hello everyone! I have a Wechip V5 s905x 2gb/16gb box running the stock android 6.1. I would like to play War Robots and other touch only games on my TV. The box is supposed to be rooted out of the box but I suspect it isn't. I'm interested in installing the Xannytech rom but I wanted to see if anyone else had tried it yet and I was wondering if is even necessary.

I guess you could try routing the V5 using one of the generic guides.

Useful to have this handy though for whatever you do, so you can always go back to stock if anything ever goes wrong.

Thank you for the link! Always good to have the stock rom. I will check out the possibility of rooting using one of the available guides. I will also look more into installing xannytech rom because it looks like it will be the business. Will be trying it on the Wechip V5 and also on a generic a95x abox. I will post my findings here including what I find out for Tincore keymapper. There seems to be a lot of trouble with getting touch emulation to work on these apps. Advanced users are able to get things running, but it seems a bunch of inexperience users are giving apps like Tincore, sixaxis controller, and game controller 2 touch really bad scores. I know Tincore does work as I have a GPD XD with legacy rom and it works great. I ha e suspected that the trouble lies with the lack of touch screen drivers for the tv boxes... we shall see when I install xannytech.
