    720p.

A 1080p video can't play in 720p it must convert the 1080p down to 720p.

If it doesn't it would look like you zoomed in on the video. And only part of it will be watchable.
So every android stick (down) plays a 1080p movie in 720p? if so i don't need it...

      Not every android stick no.
The cx-919 just got the 1080p actual resolution rom. But it is buggy. But I know for a fact that is does play actual 1080p movies very well if you use the MX Player Codec (ARMv7 NEON) with hardware/network decoding.

        Thanks for your response

Indeed this fact is very strange.my note 2 has a 720p display resolution,i know that if i hook it up to my 1080p tv the real resolution is 720p in general, BUT when i whatch a 1080p movie the real output is then 1080p not 720p.i thinked that was the same with android sticks, now you are saying i need a 1080p firmware - kernel to whatch a real 1080p movie....

I purchased mine from Geekbuying and I told them I wanted a complete refund but I never once heard from them. Poor support. Although it may cost a little more on Amazon. You know that you can always return it if you have to.

Yep, I thought about it and decided to go with amazon. Thanks!

UPDATE: Just ordered the Tronsmart cx-919 from amazon with 2 day amazon prime shipping!
