[Module] Trying to locate cifs.ko compatible with the Next7P12-G

Hey folks,
I am looking to add ability to mount CIFS shares to my rooted Next7P12-8G. Has anyone found a pre-compiled cifs.ko or instructions on where to get a suitable set of source files to compile it? Having not compiled on android (only desktop and server Linux distros) I am hoping the process to get it compiled won't be too difficult.

Linux localhost 2.6.34 #458 PREEMPT Tue Oct 23 12:45:03 CST 2012 armv71 GNU/Linux

The host is Linux, so if an NFS share is easier to get mounted on the Nexbook that would be great.
