    MK808b Continously Crashes

I have had my MK808b(from GeekBuying) for several months, it has been running Finless 1.7 with a 4tb external HHD connected to it. 3 Weeks ago it crashed while ttorrent was loading and upon rebooting crashed during the boot up screen. I decided I needed to reinstall the firmware and saw that Finless 2.1 was available and installed that(1gb partition and 720p defaults). I can usually get it to boot once, but there seems to be issues when connecting to the external. It was at a point where any File Explorer would crash the system if I browsed the external. I finally backed up my external and formatted it and that solved the problem with the external but I am still having random lock ups that lead to the system not booting anymore. Ttorrent does this whenever I have tried to load it. The same results have come from other actions but those are a one time issue that I have failed to replicate. Opening the play store, hitting the home button, among other things have caused the same result but there is nothing consistent about it so I'm beginning to think it has to do with the mk808b.

I just tried Finless 1.7 to see if anything changed and everything loaded fine and was running perfect for a few hours until I loaded ttorrent. I am going to try another torrent app but I already paid for ttorrent pro and would like to stick with it as I like it the best.

    *edit*
I just put Finless 2.1 back on and only installed ES File and DicePlayer. I could browse the external as usual but as soon as I tried to play a media file it crashes to a solid black screen. I unplugged the external and tried to play a video off of an exernal sd slot and it caused the same reaction. Also, ttorrent crashes regardless of whether an external is hooked up or not.

4.2 in mk808b doesn't have the cpu locked to 1200 like 4.1, so if you have not a decent PSU or external hd feeded externally, it will crash. More heat is generated too with this rom.

This is definitely useful information that I will keep in mind but I downgraded to Finless 1.7(I'm guessing it is 4.1) which ran fine from April until 3 weeks ago. The extra heat might have messed with something though as I have heard that the soldering on these sticks aren't great and loosen with heat. The stick has been running 24/7 since I got it so heat damage might be an issue. Also, the external has its own power supply so no worries there.
