OTA Update Failed - Signature verification failed

Hey guys I have an OTA file that appears to be a full update from hardware manufacture, I have made a few modifications to it.

I'm trying to flash it to a device that is currently running a custom ROM install from Freaktab.com

Is there a way of forcing this OTA Update?

OTA updates from the manufacturer would require the stock firmware installed.

And even if it could be forced, it would very likely cause issues.

Is there anything in the OTA update that is missing from he custom firmware because if there is then perhaps it is something that the custom rom developer could implement in theirs.

I don't have the original ROM, I'm trying to get a USB Burning tool flash-able file, but currently its 50/50 to weather the manufacture will supply me with one.

The box is currently running a custom Amlogic S912 firmware so not stock

Which box is it?

Perhaps we can see if there is a stock firmware link somewhere here on Freaktab?

I had a dig around and could not find anything specific to that firmware.

It is surprising that they don't have stock available as their site does contain download links to many of their other products.

You could always be cheeky and go back to them and say that your box has become corrupted after applying the firmware update, which might get them to give you a copy of stock (needless to say that you don't tell them that you are using a custom firmware).
