    Tanix tx8 help

    Hello, i am new here i bought the tx 8, but have no sound on spdif.
    Is the spdif Optical fiber or coaxial with copper.

    I'am run Kodi 17.3 and android

    Looks like a standard TOSLINK connector.

    Have you set the sound output to SPDIF in settings?
    R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

      Yes i thought so to the setting in android on spdif and in kodi to, but i don't see a red light from the fiber?

        Are you able to test the cable on another device just to rule it out?

        The fact that there is no red light on the port when activated would likely rule out the cable being a problem but always good to cover all the bases.

        That would then leave a firmware or hardware issue as the culprits.

        Hopefully another owner will be able to test their to confirm.
