Hi, I would like to share a BETA version firmware for Tanix TX8 Max. Based on Android 7.1.2


BETA FIRMWARE FOR AP6255 Module




A new TANIX launcher will be added to the official release, it is not included now because it is under development right now.

It is just a mail list. Download links are sent by email.

The point is: When a new firmware is available for TX8 Max the system will send you a notification with the link to download the next version.

By this way you are always informed without check the site.

Unsubscribe is as easy as press a button... in case you do not want to be informed.


I think it is a good idea.

Ok, next time I will explain this better on the first post.

By the way, if someone have a try with the firmware and find problems, can post here and I will report directly to Tanix engineers.

Hi, I edited the first post and added BETA firmware for 9377 WiFi/BT module

This time (9377 module) an also beta version of the new Tanix launcher has been included too.



This launcher is going to be included in both stock firmware

Hmmm downloaded it and not that launcher in the 9377 also no playstore in the firmware. But runs ok let me know when you update the firmware with new launcher and the playstore addon. Id remove the kodi addons they are crap anyways. Just my thoughts. Firmware kinda useless the way it is now. But like the look of your new launcher ill try once its ready. Custom boot animation would also brle Nice. Seeing mbox one is typical. Be créative brand logo and make nice boot show off Tanix lol....

Mulity user missing as well.
Task bar on or off with out swip up or down.
Rbg fix
Few other things but runs cool so far.

I'm testing on my one firmware 6255, on this beta version, i cannot find chplay, also can not install from usb, kodi also cannot install, wifi can not connect with 5ghz like can't search any of 5ghz wifi signal.

Upper and Lower task bars ok.

This is Pre Beta more like Alpha...
