What's not there / to fix:

Second Screen Setup (meh, let's save space and memory instead)
Home key on IR remote doesnt work - but this is consistent to Android TV retrofits on other boxes too. Basically a remap needs to be done in the remote configuration files for ATV's "home" function. I dont know enough to be able to do it. Otherwise D-pad on the remote, back, OK, volume, power, and All Apps shortcut key all work.

the home button not working is actually because "setup complete" is not triggered, its the result of SetupWraith.apk (setup wizard) not been complied on first boot.

SetupWraith.apk needs signed with platform key to work without crash

or just do this from terminal should fix it

su

settings put global device_provisioned 1

then

settings put secure user_setup_complete 1

Yes, that did it! I installed Terminal Emulator and first ran

Then it asked for root permissions and I was able to do your commands as root after that.

I have a R329Q_v2.0 board, that works only with MX4VB and MX4VR ROMs. I've tried two ROMs, 6.0 and 7.1 and both are very slow (maybe 7.0 is faster).

Great work! Thanks for putting it together. How did you get Play Store to work? I always got download pending / install pending in my ROMs after converting the base ROM to ATV and swapping Phonesky to Play store for ATV (PhoneskyKamikazeCanvas). COuld never figure out what it needed ..

After some use it looks like once Android TV Launcher is updated, can no longer install apps. Now all apps are Install Pending. Anyone have any suggestions?

for me in this rom downloading from store working correctly but check your apps in store if not updating something

It will download apps fine initially and then later after a few hours to a day any new app downloads and Android updates will get the "Install Pending" message and then never download, and then nothing will download ever again from Play Store unless you factory reset.

Also, what did you do when building the ROM to get Play Store to work? It's the main thing I have never figured out how to fix in ROMs. Thanks
