MK809III - Very low wifi signal with AP6210 chip

Hello everyone,
I just received my MK809III with AP6210 chip and with the "STOCK" rom that i received with it i got very low wifi signal even if it close to my router,
the rom is - ud_4.2_mk809III_101j20130603

I tried to use another roms from this forums but if i'm using them i unable to turn ON the wifi or bluetooth.

Please help me
Can anyone give me the correct ROM that will work well?

I have the same issue.
I have the same MK809III like yours.
I was able to find connections only with the stock rom.
The antenna isn't very good, I also get a full signal only near the router.
Any other rom that I tried, connections were not found.
I guess that I'll stay without internet until the problem will be solved.

Maybe it's from the same seller

I don't know why it's have this issue, i have MK908 too and the board looks the same (same chips and same antenna)

I compare your stick picture with mine. One side PCB is different with mine.

1.your pcb is green ,mine black
2.the antenna connect on pcb is different.
3.the antenna shape is different with mine.
maybe is the reason why your WIFI signal is not good.



another side pcb of your stick,because of the heatsink,I can't compare.But I want to say on my PCB there is the version (20130426,netxeon _MK906_v3.0)

Yes,it is earlier one than mine.I was told by sales man that there is some problem with the WiFi in old version.Some are for test ,some for sale.but not so many in the market.I don't know if yours has the problem he means.So maybe you can try to modify the WiFi antenna like mine,and see what happen.

I can try this, but i'll have another issue, if i'll stay with the stock ROM i'll unable to watch movies because of the video stuttering and frame drops that i have, But i'll must stay with this ROM because others ROMs don't support this version of dongle,
Is there any way to use a good working KERNEL that will fix the video issues and will work with this WIFI chip?
