    MXQ S805. Need help identifying.

    Hi all. I'm new to all this so be gentle. lol
    I have this MXQ S805 box.
    Android 6.0.1
    Kernel version 3.10.0 akrd-50@aike3 #2 Tue Jan 17 21:36:34 CST 2017
    Build number S805 20170120 test-keys.
    Wifi Unknown

    Hope these photos will help.

    As you can see, the only things written are: R329Q_V2.0 QL 1701
    Is this a cheap knock-off?

    WifiChip Version is important , otherwise no correct CustomRom search possible . Please post a nearbz Pic. of whole PCB ,

    maybe Daylight is better ???

    Maybe Realtek / Qualcomm / AP6330 AP6335 ..... ??? , WifiChip , dont know , please report if you know .

        What does it say on the box?

        S805 with Android 6 doesn't sound right.

        S905 would be more likely.

        Does it have 4 USB ports by any chance?

          Pics of whole PCB. Yes has 4 usb. Boots up as S805. Settings say Android 6.0.1

                  Also the small chip next to the larger one marked PFF 144 has some markings but I cannot see from the photos what they are.

                        This thread may also be an interesting read, although I am 99% sure that no S805 every received Marshmallow, only Lollipop, so I do think that it is an S905.

                          CPU Identifier says the same. lol. This box belongs to a mate. It has issues. Think they may have to toss this one. Mine is an S905 & works as it should. Yep, had a look thru that forum. Looks like this box is "unique"
