    Stream Youtube to mini-pc.

You can click a button from your youtube in your phone and send it to your googletv/chromecast.

This is the biggest win for Google's new chromecast. Google TV had that feature and now Chromecast does too.

What is it that allows this and can WE get it? It seem we need a way to get our mini-pc's to be seen by other android devices on the same network.

You could do this by installing the YouTube app for Google TV on your mini pc.

    1. Install this YouTube App, which can be found here: https://plus.google.com/101508104351...ts/Mv4WK8gk4Jj
    2. Fire up this app on your mini pc --> choose settings --> pair with mobile devices. It will give you a pairing code.
    3. Fire up the YouTube app on your ANDROID PHONE --> choose settings --> connected TV. Entering that code the two devices should be paired.

From then on, you should see a little cast button in the YouTube app on your phone (right above the video). Tapping on it will send that video straight to your mini PC!

I've been doing it with my android phone for a while and it works great. My only complain is that waking up your phone while the video is still playing on the TV will cause the mini pc to reload that video.

That's probably the best thing we can do for now. I hope some devs will be able to (magically) covert the Chromecast firmware into an app that works on this stick. I'm not even sure if that's technically possible since its firmware is found to be trimmed down Google TV codes (although Google says it's based on trimmed down Chrome OS codes).

I wish my TV had more HDMI ports, then I can just buy a Chromecast and use it alongside my mini pc. It only costs $35 after all.
