    leolas-qx1-rom 1.0

I SOME USERD HAD PROBLEMS AFTER INSTALL THE LOADER INCLUDED WITH THE ROM. Please don't install it untill more inspection.
    DONT FLASH THE LOADER.
I am going to be out for some time, I will read and try to help if I can from my mobile and tapatalk, but I will not have a pc near.
But before leave, I want to give you my custom rom. Is based in Minix X7 firmware. Is in beta stage, I tested it and it worked for me really good, if you want to flash it, do it under your responsibility.
    This rom is:
    -Debloated.
-Rooted. With the last busybox version installed.
-Adb debugging enabled by default from the first boot.
    -Init.d support.
-Reboot apk, thanks a lot to petrus for it.
-cwm recovery modded and with kernel inserted, it is autoinstalled in first reboot. You dont need to do anything.
-Kernel with frame skiping issue, by default kernel.img is a 720p kernel at stock clock frecuency. There is a folder with more kernels(six different kernels to choose )
    -Some little tweaks.

    Link: http://cloud.freak-tab.de/public.php...39311ae11081b9

    How to install:
Download the zip above and unpack it.
    You can download http://cloud.freak-tab.de/public.php...6475df68569aa9
to flash it from windows (we havent tools to flash bootloader&parameter from other OS)
You must chose in the program the path to the downloaded and unpacked zip.
Select the parameter file who better fit your use, the file parameter will give you 2Gb to install app(default and I suggest it) and the rest are for user storage . There is other one with 1Gb to install apps, and the last is 4Gb for apps.
And select the kernel you want from the folder ANDROID-KERNEL-QX1.

    The kernel included are:
    - 720p-basic.img kernel with frame skipping fix,720p and at stock speed.
    - 1080p-basic.img kernel with frame skiping fix, 1080p and stock clock speed.
    - 720p-cpu1800ram1300.img&1080p -cpu1800ram1300.img kernel with frame skipping fix, cpu oc 1800 and ram oc 1300, it is a little overclocked, in my test they are safe and stable.
    - 720p-cpu1896ram1500gpu798.img&1080p-cpu1896ram1500gpu798.img this kernels have a moderate overclock, I test them and works very well for me, but no all devices can overclock the same. I suggest improved heat dissipation to use this kernel.
Of course, if any developer want to use this kernels in any custom rom for our QX1, they can do it.

Thanks to Bob Finless, 900supersport, and all the staff here, they teach me all I know about make roms.
Thanks to fun_ for the cwm recovery, I only modded his work and added a kernel inside so we can flash kernels safe from cwm.
Thanks to phjanderson and sam321 for share his code to overclock snd fix video skipping issue.
Thanks to Petrus for the reboot.apk.

I hope you will enjoy this rom. All new updates to this rom will come in cwm flashable zips. And when Bob release his rom I will made a cwm zip to install it from cwm too.

    leolas

Edit: to power off the stick you must maintain clicked the power. And a menu with reboot, suspend and power off, 1 click on the power button will suspend the stick, not power off.

If you install a 1080P kernel you need to change in settings the HDMI resolution, if not, the fonts will look bad. (I have in my rom the full oc at 1080p and for me works really well.

    Known bugs:
    -Settings/language and imput fails.
    -Facebook don't work?

Great! I'll give it a try soon and hope I can contribute to some bug hunting or any other testing. Unfortunately monday will be the first chance I get.
But again big thanks to you and I'll post my experience with your ROM asap!

Yes you can, but not use my kernel, you need to use sam321 kernel for cozyone s400 and in system/lib/modules/ you need to replace 8188eu.Ko for the same module that you have in your custom rom.
It must work. This is necessary only in rtl8881eu devices.
The only problem. Is in the cwm recovery kernel, wifi voltage is 3.3V instead 1.8V of your device, but because wifi is not used in cwm I think you can use it safely.

              Can recovery image be interchanged...?

              Dear Leolas
Is it possible that I use your rom and the recovery image of neomode's roms for mk802-IV as you say the voltage for wifi is different.... If swapping of kernel is possible, then I guess swapping of recovery image too is possible... What's your suggestion on this....?
              Thanks....

Leolas , is it possible to just switch the wifi and blutooth drivers inside this kernel with
The drivers of the cozyswan/mk808 iv/ug007b , just to maintain the excellent kernel/rom
                Combination of the QX1 ?

Thank you! Worked without any issues so far. I'm using the stock 720p kernel. The geekbuying rom wasn't detecting my PS3 wireless headset, but in this rom, it works.

                              How you flashed it?
                              Is a qx1 your device?
Had you the windows driver installed before?

Please Dont flash it until more inspection. I tested it and everything was ok for me. I will test it again before leave home.

To use it in other sticks the rom will work for the stick that use rtl 8189es wifi without modifications or rtl8188eu using other kernel and replacing 8188eu.ko for the module in your stock rom.
