Em95X Bricked and fixed by shorting nand

I completely bricked my box by putting the wrong image on it. I had no way to get into recovery, and no communications through USB for USB burning tool. So I took it apart, started usb burning tool, loaded file and hit start. I connected the usb and power, and started shorting pins on the board. After countless attempts, I was nearly about to give up and throw the box in garbage, I finally heard the windows device connected sound. I looked at my monitor and seen the progress bar burning my file to the box! I never thought it would work, but it did! Never give up guys. As long as you still have lights on the box, never give up hope. I included a picture of the components I shorted. Hope this helps somebody out. I should mention this is an Enybox X1 box. It showed up as an EM95X in the info tab, in settings though before I tried flashing a new firmware to it. I can only assume they have the same board.

gefattern, No. I started USB Burning tool, loaded the img file, pressed start. Hooked up my usb male to male cable and power supply, and shorted the 2 components for I'd say less than a second. It started to immediately burn the flash. until 100% complete. I spent about an hour shorting every combination I could find until it finally connected. It was bricked hard, with no other possible way to revive it. It may have only shorted the usb connection, and not the nand, but it worked and thats all that matters to me. ;-)

The usb port where the 2 components are located at is the port I plugged into with my cable. The port is the one nearest the corner of the board.

I have actually tried to brick it again because I want to be positive I am providing the correct info, but it will not brick again! Hahahaa. I wanted to duplicate my problem, and fix it again the same way. I have loaded every wrong file I have into it, and it just rejects it if it's an incompatible flash. Even the flash that bricked my box in the first place will not brick it again. I tried to flash Khadas to it after an update from android 6.0 to 7.1.1 Khadas does not work even though is was meant for a s905x chip set. Still, this box connects on the first try to USB Burning tool. Strange! Update: I managed to re-brick, and was once again undiscoverable by usb port for 20 tries. Tried my method again to recover, and it worked without a hitch. In under a second, bam! Loading. Two minutes later it finished, and all is good once again. I don't know how many boxes run this board, but I hope this can save the few who have a brick laying around.
