MXQ S805X OTT Full black box UNBRICK

Ok guys so after years of failure, reading hundreds of forums and a bricked MXQ box I finally got it working again. You have to open your box to ensure you see this number on it KCA-008-1.1 or KCA-008-1.2. Follow the steps carefully because I had to use a combination of steps and methods to get it correct, any missed step or wrong settings can result in errors.

For KCA-008-1.1 board owners (possibly for KCA-008-1.2)
My box was bricked but the blue light was on, however it was not being recognized by my TV but it was being recognized by my computer. This is the solution to the problem:
1. Install USB Burning Tool v 2.0.1 (this version does not overwrite the file mac_ether.ini)
2. Go to C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Amlogic \ USB Burning Tool \ license. Be sure to delete the original license folder and extract the zipped folder from the link below in the USB Burning Tool folder.

3. Download firmware KOT49H.20151026 test-keys
4. Connect the box to the computer using a USB to USB cable then with the Reset button pressed (using a toothpick or paperclip inserted into the AV port) wait for the computer to recognize the box. (no power connection needed)
5. In the USB Burning Tool, check Erase flash, Erase bootloader, Overwirte key. Choose "Force Erase All" (Force Erase All).
6. Press start and hopefully after 4 minutes and 43 seconds your box will be alive again.

*Note. For some reason i couldn't get this to work on a USB 3.0 port it only works on USB 2.0 i think it has to do with the USB Burning Tool software.
