Choppy video play on MK 809 III - What ROM should I flash?

I've been playing with an MK 809 III and the HD video is a bit choppy, specially on XBMC.

What ROM should I flash with?

CPU: ARM Cortex A9 (Revision r3P0) Quad Core
    GPU: Mali 400 MP
    RAM: 2GB

    Model: RK31SDK (Rockchip)
    Hardware: RK30board
    Kernel Architecture: armV7I
    Kernel Version: 3.0.36+

    Stock ROM: RK3188_R-BOX_Android4.2.2-SDK_V1.0.0_130514

you need the ROM from Neomode for the MK802IV that ROM is compatible.
Then you need the kernel from strauzo.

Then your power cord (micro usb) must be connected to the otg micro usb port, NOT the dc power connector.

Then when you use Wifi, the internal antenna is maybe a 1 dBi antenna, and you have to close within a meter to have full use of the bandwidth.. or you solder an 5dBi antenna to it. normally my bandwidth speed is max 1Mbps when i was on 5 meters from my accesspoint. And 5Mbps within 1 meter range. With external antenna i get full bandwidth within the 5 meter range.

So.. I also am waiting for the USB2Ethernet adapter, to make use of ethernet cable instead of the lousy Wifi. At this moment i can only stream my SD Media, instead of streaming 720P and 1080P Media.

Maybe i should buy a MK888 or a MiniX Neo7 THen you have already an external Antenna and an onboard Ethernet connector + a remote control within the whole pakkage. (Geekbuying perhaps?)

    That's my experience for now..

I have also a Raspberry Pi, but that one is very good performance unless you want to play ISO or 1080P Media over VPN.. That's why i bought the alternative MK809iii, it should be a much better mediaplayer then the raspberry qua hardware. But the raspberry is more finetuned in every way.. that's how it feels..
But then, the bottleneck is really the 700MHz processor.. when you use internet streaming over VPN, somewhere the VPN uses some processor power or something.. but ok, i hope this helped?!

I only have choppy play in XBMC outside XBMC it works perfect. Had problems with wireless but I got a Linksys repeater and just put it close to the MK809III and it works PERFECT now.

I believe the choppy play inside XBMC has something to do with XBMC internal player.

      Thanks MagicTM
