H96 pro plus slow internet

Box is about 6 months old and I have broadband 150 and I use to get 140-150 for my speed. Two weeks ago my box started getting slow and tested it and only would get 20.

Internet company showed up today and everything is fine except my Andriod box. It is hard wired in also.

Curious as to what may cause this issue.

Hi rex5.3 ,

this Box has an internal Antenna , i think a Wifi Mod could help , not good placed , replace ,

but better adding a extenal Antenna . Maybe a strange App is doing that , u never know .

Fact others had Problems too . Ever did a FactoryReset , but remember this delete all

your Data , so if always Backup . Does the Box run hot ??? What Rom do u use , u know

that u can flash a CustomRom from here ???

Maybe we can move this later to one of the H96Pro+ main Threads with more Posts .

Just did a factory reset and went to my local internet providers speed test and got 20 again.

What do you mean rom? I am running 6.0 Android which came stock with it.

I don't think the box runs hot. Is spaced away from stuff with a lot of open air flow around it.

is it correct that you use Ethernet not Wifi /wireless ??? So months ago the Speedtests gave Results between

140-150 , now only 20 if you make Speedtests , is that correct ???

Did you install many Apps are they all online , do you have Root ??? Ever changed the Ethernet Settings ???

Maybe it is better to use one of the CustomRoms from here , sorry i am not really good with Ethernet , but i

think it is the shitty StockRom self that makes trouble . I can only guide you to a new flash of StockRom or

It may be something installed if had originally. Might be heat issue if on stock rom. But thinking first one. Try change cable and re test. Sometimes they crap out.

There are so many options for firmware or rom updates. I don't understand what advantages I would get from changing them

Stock firmware so bad that dev Super Celeron fix a host of issues and runs better faster with less iasues. Yes wifi fixes to so thats the differences. Better faster stronger. So dont know why anyone would stay on stock.

Would one of his ones is the one I would need from the stickys. Just to many options. And would I still be able to change my host files to get NHL center for free aka NHL streams is the add-on
