I'm new here on this forum. I found it by searching android 7.1.2 tv box boot problems. It looks like you're discussing the same problem that I have. I opened supersu on my S10. I just kept clicking yes install open etc. At one point I was asked to choose between two options. I picked one (I don't know which one). Then I chose to restart. My device restarted and hung on the "four colored balls". I've tried to factory reset several times, tried everything I could find on the internet and now am currently emailing with support in China and they seem to know even less than me about what is happening. Can anyone here help me? Thank you in advance.

As for the 20171213 Firmware it loads fine on a 3gb/16gb S10 but never boots.
The only way to make it load is to only use the system.PARTITION and recovery.PARTITION added to the 20170912 Firmware.
Use the Customization Tool and just replace the two file above it will boot fine and seems to run okay, This firmware the 20171213 is not Rooted but that was take care of using SuperSU 2.82 zip file via TWRP.
Other than the way above I have found noway to get the 20171213 to boot it has some other files embedded in the .img file " aml_sdc_burn.UBOOT.ENC , DDR_ENC.USB , meson1_ENC.dtb , UBOOT_ENC.USB " But regardless it seems the bootloader.PARTITION and boot.PARTITION seem to be Hosed.

Hi,
I have recently bought the S10 but I really cant upgrade the S10 to either the alfawise build or GT1. Using the burning tool always gives "[0x10103005]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Download buffer/Read item data failed" so moved to the SD card approach but as soon as I see the green android guy and it´s state "upgrading" it goes black after 2 seconds and no screen anymore and I need to recover with usb burning tool and stock rom 171213.
Does anybody have any hints to give?
With SD card maker I have all boxes ticked in (standard).
ps. tested both the ddr3 and ddr4 images and the compatible ones provided in earlier post "https://yadi.sk/d/2QbDv1vl3NDW45"
using burn card maker 2.0.3 and usb burning 2.1.2

Please let me know if you manage to get the GT1 firmware working on your R-TV S10. I find the UI of the S10 extremely dull & boring.
Thanks.
