Tronsmart MK908 Live TV streaming issue

Hi,

I have purchased the MK908 from geekbuying and it is the latest build which is currently not upgradeable with the finless 1.5 rom as per other posts so waiting for a fix with that.

My primary intention is to use the device to watch streamed live TV, specifically I am using an app called live station which offers a selection of free and also some premium channels which you can pay for.

On all other devices I use the live station app (iPad and also Android phone). The picture quality starts at a low bandwidth and as soon as it detects a faster connection and I assume the buffer fills up it switches to a higher quality picture which is quite comparable to SD TV.

However on the MK908 although the app works well, it is stuck in the low bandwidth picture quality no matter how long I wait. On a large TV screen it really looks quite bad which is a shame as I am hoping to do away with my cable subscription but at the moment the picture is quite poor.

Same probleme with the v3 rom version!! with any live tv apps

I think that the problem is wifi, maybe the app doesn't has any buffer and if the wifi module crash just for a second (very often for MK908) it's a problem, try with Sopcast because this app use a buffer and see if it's happen again..

but i donc think it's a problem of buffer, my wifi seems good and when the app boot the picture is streched...
