Pipo M7 Pro RileyROM 1.2 [Feedback]

This ROM update is based on the official firmware from the Pipo site dated 7/29/13
Here is a link to the official site I get the firmware from:

It is rooted with 2,4,6 or 8gb user app space, init.d support, Google Play Store fixes. And this ROM comes with an awesome bootanimation from Tattman65. Also, I included the generic CWM Recovery as default...if it doesn't work for you just use the included stock recovery. If you want to try future flashes with CWM you can use the template I provided (readme). You MUST use the flash tool on this ROM the first time.

I usually try to...but since Pipo doesn't provide a change log...that is very difficult. I don't read Chinese...and I've tried to look over their forum...but Google translate only does so much. Chinese structure their sentences differently and many words don't match up...so it's hard to gain anything.

I don't own an M7 Pro tablet...so I also can't test to see what the changes are. That's up to ya'll.

Hi Riley, a small question, is there any way to lower the brightness? i've set to minimun but it still too bright for me

It seems there is a new firmware available, from 19/8, anyone tried it yet?

I have done some things a little different, this time.

I switched to the Finless flash tool. No real reason, but I started using it this weekend while I was worknig on a ROM for a new mini PC I got (Ugoos UT1 is a really good TV box, if you are looking for one BTW).

I have included CWM recovery as an option. The default is stock recovery, but you can change that either in the flash tool, or by renaming the files in the RileyROM folder.

There is also a template for creating a CWM flashable ROM. I wouldn't use it the first time and with updates, but you can make it and use it to flash THIS ROM again, if you need to via CWM.

The old kernel branding tool I use to put the badge logo has problems with these newer kernels. The Freaktab team is working on a fix...so this time the kernel isn't branded...don't worry when you see the Pipo logo at boot.

Also included is the RKBatchtool in a folder on the ROM kit. You can use this to flash the stock ROM, but you can also use it to switch to flash mode if you have trouble using the Finless tool.

As soon as the files are uploaded I will post a link here to the new thread.

I am a user from China & if u don't mind my poor English,I will show u the change log when the official forum have shown.
Here is the change log of the 8/20/13 official FW
1.Optimize the HDMI output
2.Optimize the Multi-Windows app,fix the switch problems
3.Optimize the Multi-Windows Mode and make it run more smoothly
4.Add the Reboot

And finally,do u mind relay ur Rom to the official forum?I think they will favorite ur Rom and appreciate ur Rom .
