Power Issue

I can't seem to get my 5v power port powering my H96 Pro+ 3/32, however i can power it through one of the usb ports, the rom i use doesn't seem to make a difference and i cant find a setting to do with this, i do use a usb hardrive but if i disconnect it i still have to power the box through a usb port. any help or advice would be appreciated i'd like to be able to use the 5v power port instead of one of my two usb ports.

Hi!
If you have soldering skills my suggestion is to open the box and see is there any cracks on power plug. I mean the part that connects to the PCB. And fix it in a matter of second.
In some cases china engineers do not pay much attention to some details so it worth checking. If you have some multi-meter please check also is your wall adapter provide correct voltage. If working at all.
This is first things come into my mind. Hope it helps.
