Hello, I did a finished a COOLING mod on my TV box U2C Z-Super 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM.
I just put a small fan 30x30mm. The aluminum cooling radiator is 35x35mm. if some body try this mode
I put some aluminum shield on other side on board on the RAM memory but site did not allow me to upload the pics.
I didn't expect this kind of result more than 100% decrease the temperature and is so quiet.
This is like 1st. stage of the cooling because i did not drill the holes ob the side to make easy air go away.
2nd stage i will drill a holes on the side + will install cooling radiators on top of NAND flash and Wifi IC.

I just ordered a new device, to replace my bricked H96 pro+.

I decided to go with the Tanix TX8 max, which is almost the same in terms of spec.
It's 3GB DDR4 and not DDR3 (like in the most variants of the H96, and like the newer Tanix TX9)
It only has 2 variants (that i know of) with 2 different wifi chips.

And, most importantly, support is better.
They got a website with a download ROM section, and their support actually replied my query email...

great handiwork, really neat. in the last photo you put a pad, did you check if it would make a fire hazard?

yoavain you could not unbrick your device ?
Is it soft or Hard brick ?


msc1 - Your right that is temporary i will install a rubber strip only on edges of the FAN because i want whole air to come true the aluminum radiator. other way 30-40C can not melt and burn.
Now im testing which is better to blow true the box or to take out the air.
Definitely i made one mistake and it is a power from the FAN i took straight from power DC but that is not good because FAN working all the time even when box is off.
I did not have change to see from where could take to work only when box is ON or will need to create a schematic for that.
I think could take from USB parts but im not sure and i dont like because in that case will load the USB circuit.

I Will let you know what i decide to do

hello, read everything in this forum (I mean not only the thread, whole Alfawise forum.. really, spend at least 1 hour)

You need to check temps, without a fan I could not keep it stable. by the way, wireless update utility is a virus, root your board, install a fan or at least find a solution to keep it cool, then reflash it with usb burning tool (read below), you'll need male to male usb cable, if you don't have it, cut two USB cables and attach them male to male search youtube for instructions..

please check my every post in this thread to see we have the same board with the same manufacturing date. Root it, Install SuperSu Pro but do not install binary update, delete all the stock crapware with Es File Explorer Pro.

change the god awful launcher by installing top tv launcher II from google play all the applications I've used are purchased from google store and latest versions. It's been 3 months since I did these so I repeat, read everything, there might be better tutorials but this is the setup I made 3 months ago and It's still working without a hitch. good luck, you'll really need to try hard to hard brick your device so don't be afraid of soft bricking

Thank you mate for all the info! My problem is solved!!! it was the wireless update virus! (what a shithead lol) i deleted it and the box is working like charm,,,however i tried to update the firmware (on other box) and i get stuck at 2% and hear the famous usb disconnect..didn't try on the working box as i had another bricked h96 and cant fix it for the life of me!!! tried every single firmware and burning tool but nothing works! any idea? i tried 3 usb cables with same problem..any good seller for a working usb cable? Thanks again!

hey, for your bricked box , firstly you should just change the power adopter with a good 5volt/3amp. adopter and flash Supercelerone rom according to colour of your pcb, and when using usb burning tool power up the box with a usb powerbank at the hidden usb port and you must got sucseeded like me . wishing you goodluck.

hey man, no luck so far! i tried over 4 cables, i even DIY 3 cables and nothing, the box shows its connected but disconnect at 2% when burning...thats my box, i have a ddr4...am i missing something here?

And why don't You try one of superceleron's Roms? I think it should be compatible with Your Box,

trust me man i tried the reset button, every freakin rom out there, every SC rom as well, i even tried different laptops, you name it...not sure if my box is dead, however it does turn on, blue led is on and it connects to burning tool...any thoughts? can it be saved? maybe try a new cable? do you have a buy link for a good trusted usb cable?

I used NoName male2male cable I got with HDD case. Don't have the name of it or manufacturer, so I have no way of recommending it...

I would try different Burning Tool versions, if You didn't try it yet.
