first , i think he send you a fix to flash , did you extract the .rar File with a Tool like WinRaR or similar ,

is it a .img File , or what ??? I think you have to flash this File with AndroidTool 2.39 + Drivers 4.5 ,

About mk809IV 2G/16G WIFI MAC ADDRESS ALWAYS CHANGE I followed the same steps that worked for "anyaddress" user (tool and driver). And i got the MAC address changed on the upgrade tool but it does not change on the MK809 TV stick. Every time I check with the tool, it says the same MAC, the one I want but everytime i boot the stick, the address changes. Any suggestions?

i think you cannot change mac address to any vlaue you want ,ther is a range in which mac start and end,try the attached mac

It did not work, I tried a few MAC address, including using the file in the tool folder. I ended up giving up on trying to make it work. I am using the Android ID of the device as a unique identifier for what I need instead. It solved my problem. But I guess it won't help people that needs the MAC address fixed.

a always new Mac address is a big Security + , or not ???

Not if it makes the dongle unusable for specific use cases. The manufacturer should release a OS version with a built-in option for users to check if they need to keep the MAC address fixed.
