Low ethernet speed - Alfawise H96 pro +

    Low ethernet speed - Alfawise H96 pro +

    Hi!

    Need some help, tried search but was unable to find related topics.

    I have a Alfawise H96 pro+ connected by a Ethernet cable to my home network, but I´m experiencing low speeds...

    In Speedtest app I only get 9.45 Mbps download and 5.3 Mbps upload.

    I plugged my laptop to the same connector, and I get 85 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds, which is almost my ISP internet speed.

    Any ideias why this is happening?

    I´m running default firmware.

    I am having exact same issue. Sent support ticket to Gearbest. Hope they respond. Love the box when internet is good. Hope someone here has some insight.

      you can forget about getting support from gearbest about a firmware issue :P when i receive my alfawise h96 pro+ i try to update the su binary and my box get stuck in a bootloop so i send an email to gearbest to have the same MBOX branded stock firmware that i had on my box but no way, they never wanted to send me the firmware :P

        Hello guys,

        I also have the same issue (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...-network-issue) but me all is good while i don't turn off the tv box
        I tried to shut down manually the connexion by a terminal (ifconfig eth0 down and after up) nothing change ...The only thing to do is to reboot the box .. where can i find what's happend on reboot in order to extract the code and script it.

          Hi guys,

          Exactly the same issue here, do we know if its a software issue, or a hardware issue?

          I've emailed Gearbest as well.....No response for about 4 days. Will not be buying from them again.

            hello,
            i uptade the rom with rom super celeron ... the ethernet issue is resolved .... i don't have enough time to test the rom but all seems good
