Recommendations for a new TV box

    Hi guys,

    Newbie here, please don't bite

I'm looking for a new TV box after returning my H96 MAX. I'm now back on my first crappy box (amazingly it only has 200MB RAM).
The issue I had with it was that the audio was stuttering every 5-10 seconds after 5mins of smooth playback via the SPDIF output. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the video - the issue was only audio.

After this one, I'm very hesitant to get another one. Especially when I looked online and found more information on people having the same problem but seemingly no solution.

I would like to spend under $180 AUD on a box.
What I'm hoping to find is:
    - S912/RK3399
    - 3GB+ RAM
    - TOSlink connector for SPDIF
    - Dual band AC wifi
    - USB 3.0 (good to have but not absolutely critical)
    - Bluetooth (also good to have but not absolutely critical)

    Performance expectations:
    - No video discolouring during playback (would not expect this with 3GB ram anyway)
    - No audio stuttering
    - No wifi dropping out (currently having this issue)

Unfortunately, audio via HDMI is not an option, as my amp only accepts analog or Optical.
Not going to connect this via ethernet - wifi should be good enough to stream.

Currently eyeing the CSA96 and the R99 systems.
Has someone used these box, or something else with similar specs? The biggest issue I have is the Optical at the moment. That one was really annoying me.

    Cheers!
