Help to root Cyclone Android X4 (Version 2) - AML S905

Hi all,

I am trying to root the Cyclone Android X4 Version 2, specs here: http://www.sumvision.com/product/Cyc...ndroid-X4-905/

This is running Android 6.0.1.

I've found old posts in this forum which look like they may be helpful, unfortunately, the links to the files to download are no longer working.

Has anyone rooted this box before? Or can anyone point me in the right direction on how I'd go about doing so? I've tried to root using KingoRoot APK but without any success.

Hi. You can find all info below. In short you need to flash TWRP recovery and later flash supersu via TWRP.
Also found info on Amazon from other people. To root use the “Minix Neo U1 root method” (tip: run root_u1.bat as administrator on Win7. Also works on Linux).
