    YIFANG Next7P12-8G/Boot up.

I no this is my first Nex and it's very basic. Thats why i bought it. More of a learning tool. But i have a question. On boot up before you get to the unlock screen there are 3 nex screens that come up. Is there away to disable these. It's making the boot up process slow. Thank you for any assistance.

They emailed me and said it's part of the process. Oh well i haven't done a root since 2010. Maybe that will work. I have to learn this shyt all over again.

if you root it, you can use rom toolbox to install a alternate boot up screen, but it will only over write the third screen, not the first two, which I found rather lame. Still figuring out what those files are and if they can be edited/deleted/replaced.

The first two screens are images in the boot.img they can only be replaced by modifying unpacking the boot.img, modifying it, repacking it and flashing it. Their effect on the boot time should be negligible.

The third screen is the bootanimation. It can be replaced on a rooted rom, but again there would be no effect on boot time. My understanding regarding bootanimations is that they automatically loop until the system is done loading.

In my opinion, all of these serve more of a positive effect in identifying boot failure points than a negative effect on boot duration.
