A95XR1 Box got unrooted trying to change bootanimation

Hi guys,
I got the A95XR1 Box, S905W, 1GB+8GB ROM here.
I tried to change the bootanimation with manually changing the bootanimation.zip file.
While changing this file and it's permissions and rebooting the box, suddenly the root browser told me that the box wasn't rooted anyomore.

Any ideas how this could happen?

And are there some instructions how to root this kind of device again? I know I can install the firmware again but this is quite time-consuming.
