That will be a nice box. Meccol + ATV + bluetooth + low price = complete ATV Box.

Kinda slow in the benchmark test. I wonder why.

Perhaps I missed it but where does it list Widevine L1 in spec?

It's same 905x, maybe demo unit is not yet "Optimized" on those bench test yet. Maybe final product will be "optimized" for the benefit of those looking at benchmaks.

I did see the Netflix app on Home Screen but that can be installed without L1. Were any of the videos he showed from Netflix? I mainly asked as I didn't see L1 listed on website specs but box does look promising.

The Xiaomi Mi box is sold n Walmart in the US for $69.99 plus tax, I would guess they will sell this box for less than $60 US. The sweet spot would be less than $50 US.

Nice little box. No net port though. One USB port and no card reader.

The Sad news is target customers are operators, ISP etc.
May take awhile to see it as seen as a retail package as seen,
Would be good to see, but don't hold your breath.

When I ask Mr Google about this box he gives me results dating back as far as 8 December 2016, so I doubt we ever gonna see this box on the market.

But I also found that it is in use by a South African cble tv provider.

Telkom has launched its Android set-top box, the LIT TVB-100, offering customers who sign up for certain mobile, fixed-wireless and fixed-line broadband connections free streaming music and video streaming from partner providers. And the TVB-100 - which is strangely devoid of any Telkom branding on either the box or in the software
