Amlogic Customization Tool BUG with Android 7 IMAGES.

Has anyone else noticed this? If you download this image, unpack it using the Amlogic Customization Tool 2.0.8 or 2.0.10 and then repack it (without modifying anything), the resulting image is BROKEN?

    Steps:
    1) New Mini M8S Pro (2G x 16G)
    2) Download this IMG for USB flashing: https://beelink-my.sharepoint.com/pe...PEmGaH05_zVFzs
    3) Open in Amlogic Customization Tool 2.0.10
    4) Unpack Image
    5) Don't touch ANYTHING
    6) Repack Image and name it something other than the original name
    7) Open Amlogic USB Burning Tool 2.0.8
    8) Load image file you just created
    9) Flash it
    10) When the flashing process is finished, the "4K Ultra HD" Bootup Logo will appear and then do NOTHING. The boot process freezes before reaching the bootanimation.zip sequence.

In summary, the resulting image has gotten corrupted somehow and the boot-up process is broken at the Ramdisk or K ernel partition (my guess).

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? AZW?

    Many thanks in advance!!

2.0.8 Customization Tool doesnt work on 7.0+ Nougat images, It has issues with repacking the image and causes the exact problem your asking about.

Havent tried 2.0.10 yet but will try it tonight on my T95X.

I have tried multiple times with 2.0.10 with the same result. It doesn't work. The resulting image freezes at the boot-up process.

One thing that I've noticed: if you unpack, touch nothing, and repack, the resulting IMAGE (*.img) is roughly 3 MEGS larger than the original image. So it's not a perfect clone (which could explain why it freezes?

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

      Many thanks in advance!

Try and see what happen if you do not unpack logo.img. e.g. dont click the box "Set logo image". This will leve logo.img alone.

There is no Solution for Windows User.
The only way right now is using Linux.
