H96 TV Box RK3229

Hello, I have purchased about like 10 of these boxes and I've had very odd problems with them.

The box has the following information


Model: H96
Android Version: 7.1.2
Build Number: H96 eng.akrd-51.20170906.184736

The problem is that when signing into the "Google Play Store" it appears as if a lot of the apps you normally could install you cant.

Even if I was to sideload the APK instead some of the apps will appear sideways on the screen.

Is it possible to have the firmware reinstalled with a different one that works correctly?

maybe , but for this we need the Box Specs RAM/ROM/Wifichip/DDR3 or DDR4 ??? things like that ,

best Pictures of PCB , nearby good quality , both sides .

Hi, Are you sure about Android 7.1.2 ?
All RK3229 have Android 4, 5 or 6
When i check on google H96 have Android 6

I'm aware of this myself I was surprised to see it said 7.1.2 considered my order said Android 6.0.

So I was plugging one of the boxes in and it was stuck at boot screen (shows an MBOX logo)

The top says the following

Only went to this option by the "AV Method" because I had to "Factory Reset" one.

What exactly does this mean?

Is it possible to change the firmware to make the device work as normal when some applications appear "sideways" & for google play to actually work correctly?
