    Rooting my cheapo tablet

    Have an RCA tablet I want to use a cd card as memory upgrade but my tablet needs to be rooted, don't use the tablet often just at the cottage as an android box, Has 1 gb memory so it's too slow now and don't want to spend mucho $$$ for a new tablet cause I don't use it enough. Tried rooting with apps but they don't work on my RCA Maven Pro 11 tablet Android 5. Help
