Here's a ROM for the cube U30GT 2 RK3188 based on Cube's 4.2.2 v2.04 of 13 Aug 2013.

Notes

• Flashing will delete everything on your Cube consider backing up first and remove any sdcard

Instructions

• Download and extract to a folder
• connect the tab to the PC (you did remove the sdcard)
• start the ROM flash tool
• put the tab into flash mode, the PC should detect it, see below for instructions
• install drivers if required
• erase idb
• flash, the ROM kit is correctly configured
• the tab should boot to recovery and format cache, data and sdcard (this will take a few minutes)
• the tab should now boot

Let me know how this goes.

So what do you get?

• defaults to english uk
• root
• bloat removed
• busybox and init.d support
• play/market fixes for more apps in Google Play
• LatinIME keyboard
• a choice of 2,4,6 and 8 gig app space, 2 is the default but the others can be selected from the flash tool

Booting to Bootloader

• Power off the Cube
• hold Vol + and connect to usb
• After 3 to 4 seconds release Vol +
• The Cube should be detected by the PC.
• If you have not already installed the drivers now would be a good time. I've included the drivers in the ROM kit in the RockusbDriver folder.

Just a quick note, I like the ROM so far but cube have some work to do yet, I've had a few fcs and odd behavour (tapping at the edge of the app tray closes rather than scrolls). I'll be interested to hear how you get on.

In the ROM folder there are parameter files for 2, 4, 6 and I think 8 GB. The tool is configured to use the file parameter, rename this then rename the parameter file you want to parameter.

After using the new rom for a bit, here are some comments:

1. Experienced the same thing regarding the app drawer: touching the edge closes it. But no big deal as I use a custom launcher.

2. Standby battery life is the same as before (which is decent). While in intense use, battery seems to drop a bit faster than previous version. According to my estimations, will equate to roughly one hour less of on-screen time.

3. Tablet hanged 2 times while playing 1080p video on MX player and had to reboot. Anyone else experience this?

Overall I'm quite satisfied with it, as the multi-window feature is killer.

Yes. It nearly killed my nerves :-)
I was unable to understand it, how do I put windows side by side, or four into the screen, how can I easily switch one of the applications to fullscreen again?

And did you noticed, that the task switcher button does not work corretly? And pressing the home button, the screen flickers (some other app appears for a tenth of a second) before displaying the desktop?

It is not the supersport rom's problem, the stock 2.04 final does the same.
I ink, the july 6th test version is much better, than this "final"

I haven't flashed this one yet, but I'll test and see if I'm having the same problem.

Yes, I saw this video before, and looks promising, butI watched again. I don't saw, for example, how can you maximize the app, if you don't need multi window :-)
Most of nthe time I don't need multiwindow. On desktop pc, applications are used on full scrreen, exept some chat, music player and so on, copying files, etc. But browsing, emailing,... are used in full screen.

My Galaxy Note 2 also has Samsung's version of multi windows. I don't use it everyday but I do use it fairly often. I like to check emails, browse the Web and watch YouTube videos at the same time.
