Newbie question - Upgrade A912

Hello,

I would like to get Android TV on my current box which is an Beelink GT1 A912 - 6.0.1 - GT1_113M0

I read one topic that explain that I cannot update to Android 7.1

FIrst i would like to put stock Android and then install Android TV.

For sure, i cannot upgrade with OTA anymore.

When I try to upgrade with SD card with the pin method, the box freeze on the Beelink logo....

Is there a way or should i buy another box ?

buy male to male USB cable and flash with burntool from pc/laptop

no need to buy a new one , restore the old with flashing a new Rom maybe CustomRom from here ???
