This post is simply to thank all of those involved with this project. Over the past few days 7 people I know have purchased this Tablet and EVERYONE has followed us VERY closely. ESP the past 2 days!

I have been asked to thank our team, dubbed "Team DarkStar" due to the OVERWHELMING amount of accomplishments made in the after hours, for all of their hard work an accomplishments. Our followers are VERY pleased with our progression and even more excited to see where we go. This team is single handedly responsible for EVERY rooted PMID701C in N.Florida!

This is just one of several emails I have recieved over the past 24hours...

I KNEW it had to have potential for you to take it apart on your lunch break, I followed some steps for a p700 root and almost bricked it. Thanks to Team DarkStar (hope you like it, I thought it was time you all had a name!) I was able to recover my tablet and successfully ROOT AND INSTALL GPLAY! My son now has his first tablet and learning device, WHICH HE LOVES, and we owe this to Team DarkStar. Thank you so very much. Lol of course you would and I cant blame you. I just went with what Kim and her companions called us so the team would know who's attention I was after, and I assumed "Team FreakTab" had already been taken by YOU and your team seeing as how you guys are across multiple forums where as were mainly here and only working on a singular device. BTW your included in that thank you our team, dont sell yourself short or give us all the credit, I dont think we could have come this far without your knowledge, experience and input!

I am down with that. I would like for him to have one of these in his capable hands. I think there is a lot of "future" to this SOC/general mobo combo. This thing is certainly not your normal junk budget tablet.

possible ROM names and the status of a Finless tablet

Hey I still willing to put $20 toward a tablet for the Finless, er I mean 701c-less Bob.

Also I have a couple ROM names for public consideration...

DarkStarRTS (return to stock)

DarkStarFTE (freaktab edition)

and

DarkStarICE (ICS version)

and if someone with some photoshop skills and a home screen converter could edit the stock boot screen to say 'Polardroid' with a 'D" instead of 'Polaroid' and then make 3 more with the ROM names under that in a stylish way. I will do something nice for them.

(It would not be stock with the boot screen changed but I call artistic license!)

Hehe we have another screen maker like me

I find the portrait screens a pain in the arse I prefer to do landscape boot screens, you can fit the stuff in better. Nice work

If Bob wanted an iPad 3 he would most likely already have one. I think he is bored with iOS and WAY more into Android OS.

As great an Apple is I don't like the way that it is all locked down. Android extremely easy to change just about anything.

Thumbs up to Android, not perfect but I like it :thumbup:
