A fix for possibly helping your H96 Pro+ crashing less

    Hey there,

so I had this issue with my device crashing a lot. I tried multiple roms but supercelerons one didn't work that great. I think the OC on the GPU is making things hard but you can't disable it. I have contacted him about that and am awaiting an answer.

So what I did was going full stock. Removing apps that I don't need. Configuring Google stuff right (even installing the Google app) and underclocking the big cpu to 1ghz. And that helped A LOT. Watched multiple Movies yesterday via SPMC and had no issues. Still runs hot as cake but oh boy do things now work normally. I can even use Chrome now, that one crashed like instantly clicking a link.

I'm still in contact with Gearbest for a new device. I'll propably will just buy another one and send this one back for a refund so i don't have to wait a complete month until this solved.

Are there any alternatives that I could watch out like the Beelink GT1 Ultimate thats looking pretty dandy...

Try another power adapter with 3A...

Could help but i already ordered the Beelink GT1 ultimate since there are no Google Store crashes. I think there a big kernel issue on H96 pros.

Have you tried checking the cpu temperature ?

Yes. They're fine. Sometimes the device crashes the play store so hard i had to reboot. There are multiple people with this issue. The last flash i did made it pretty stable. Some apps weren't even installed which could be a good thing. Maybe some shitty app is the Problem who knows. It's super unstable.

Reset it then and start over . No need to flash if it already has the latest Android OS. Mine doesn't crash. But, I did install a fan b/c the temp goes to 70* fast.

Yeah gave it to my dad and he plugged a 3A one in. Seems to be Stable now. Still preferring Beelinks one. Has a heatspreader and build quality is better. Sadly i bricked it today.

                  Is your h96 pro+ still running stable & good? & on what ROM are you/your h96pro + now ?

He wrote that he went back to stock. So I think he was using that one THAN. Than, coz this thread is "dead", as last post was written more than half a year ago...

Yes,I can well understand what you are saying... But I was just getting desperate about details of any of the possible positive outcomes if any of the members here had by changing the power adaptor to a higher ratings , say 3A & the aforesaid box h96 pro+ behaving stable & Not crashing So frequently therafter. ! Sorry to bother ,I asked here because I saw someone having the same problem as mine.

A lot of people changed power supply for one with bigger amperage and it really helps with stability of the Box.
I didn't need it, but if You feel and see problems, than changing charger should be one of Your first steps.

Thanks pal for trying to help me out
Btw,I tried to hook up a 5v 2amp adapter through one of tqhe USB ports of the said box, alongwith with the supplied h96pro+ but that didn't help me much.
Anyway, will be getting a new 3amp 5v adapter first thing tomorrow !

Edit: late but still latter than never... The 5V 3amp which I bought did not help the matter much..the box still keeps on randomly crashing !
