make wifi better

I ran into the problem of wifi.
Unstable work of wifi, constant reconnection.
"Receiving an IP address" message.
Once again taking off the lid. I was surprised to realize that in TV box, in fact, there is no antenna.
There is some awkward metal hook. And that's all.
I wanted to put the antenna from the wifi router there. But I do not have a excess 6db antenna.
As a temporary measure, I did this:
I took a can of beer, and cut out a plate of the right size. I glued it to a double-sided adhesive tape.
As a result, this metal hook is in contact with the plate.
Connection has become better!
Indications Specedest:
Distance from access point / ping / download / upload
1 less than a meter / 29 / 6.73 / 0.87
With a plate - 8 meters (through the wall) / 30 / 6,83 / 0,90
Without a plate - 8 meters (through the wall) / 35 / 4 / n.a (when uploading - broken wifi connection)
I think all owners of this TVbox should make such a temporary antenna.

Я столкнулся с проблемой Wifi.
Нестабильная работа Wifi, постоянные переподключения.
Сообщение "получение айпи адреса".
В очередной раз сняв крышку. Я с удивлением понял, что в ТВ боксе, по сути, отсутствует антенна.
Есть некий несуразный металлический отросток. Да и всё.
Я хотел туда поставить антенну от Wifi роутера. Но у меня нет свободной 6дб антенный.
В качестве временной меры я сделал так:
Я взял банку из под пива, и вырезал пластину нужного размера. Приклеил её на двухсторонний липкую ленту.
В итоге, этот металлический отросток - соприкосается с пластиной.
Соединение стало лучше!
Показаний Спеедтест:
Расстояние от точки доступа / пинг / загрузка / отправка
1 менее метра / 29 / 6,73 / 0,87
С пластиной - 8 метров (через стену) / 30 / 6,83 / 0,90
Без пластины - 8 метров (через стену) / 35 / 4 / нет данных (при отправке разрывается Wifi соединение)
Я думаю, всем владельцам этого ТВ бокса, стоит сделать подобную временную антенну.

как итог - соединение стал лучше, лучше стала скорость интернета.
но проблема потери вифи соединения и статус вифи "сохранено" - никуда не делось.
Жаль, но видимо это проблема прошивки или аппаратной части.

Hmm..
have you checked-out the router log?
try a different router (if you can)
does your tv box change its mac adress?
try using a app like "alogcat"

just some thoughts..
