    Problem Installing Driver on Win7

    Hi guys,

My PC will not see my T428 as a storage device, can anyone help me?

I do not know which driver to I use to be able to see both internal and external SD cards in My Computer.

Device manager see's this as a Nexus 7 but it does not see the drivers?

I tried right clicking and updating driver by Windows doing an online search and also tried to install manually. I get an error "No compatible driver found for this device"

Can anyone advise please what driver to use, I am a little stuck

    Thanks

Every tv stick have 2 type of drivers, first when you plug your stick you should be able to access the two partiton system and sdcard, if you plug your device holding the reset button at the same time you will have to install another driver (this driver allow you to flash or use adb). Be sure to hold reset button until you ear computer sound, then in device manager you will have the driver, if not install the supply driver. If you have the wrong driver uninstall it but be sure to remove also the file in removing process and replug the stick holding reset button.

I've got the same issue with my MK908 rev3.
My computer running WinXP can't see the dongle as a mass storage/mtp device, so i can't copy files into it.
Anyone succeeded in performing such actions ?

In device manager, when you plug your device, do you have a unknown device?

            Nope.
If i just plug it on the OTG port (mk908) and usb port (computer), nothing happens but the blue led lights on (it might be booting).
If i hold the flash button and then plug it inot the computer then it's recognized as
            "Class for rocksub devices"
            -> "Rocksub Device".

So wait until fully boot, if you do not see it after boot you will have to go in setting activate the option connect to pc. Sometime that option is under "more option" sometime under 'USB". Some firmware have connect to pc by default other have to be activate. Of course if you have to activate manualy you will need your stick connect to a screen.

I found some variant in the way android connect to pc, in my T428 and cube I will have to connect manualy with the connect storage message, my sanei connect diectly but have to be disconnect imperativly in windows. The best I found is in my Asus, instead of mounting my android device partition in system it install a multimedia device I can connect and disconnect without using unmount. But all those device work under different android OS.

Hum wait... so it needs to be both plugged to the computer and a tv (or any hdmi screen) in order to see the sd-card content from the computer ?
I thought i just had to plug it in like a regular mtp/usd device.

I know that's is a wrong way to do it but those sticks use tablet style OS. The only way I found to transfer file on internal SD is using copy from network. For large file I use USB memory stick or MicroSD card...

Still not working, i'm gonna send my files off wifi (that's really the lamest way to perform this...).
I've got several other android devices (phones and tabs) and all are easily connected as mass storage and/or mtp devices.
                      I'm really dissapointed here. :-/
