Android TV is more than just launching basic apps. Find out exactly what an Android TV box is and how it can help you watch whatever you want!
Could users.. that run a 1080 kernel on rk3188 please provide feedback...
Are the claims still valid on that website?
for rk3188 devices..
What are the "pro's" and what are "cons" of running a 1080p kernel?
Are there "apps/games" that no longer function right?
I appreciate the help...
1080p kernel is allways less smooth than 720p, but it runs very well at my imito qx1, I feel the device smooth enought, fonts have a better definition and to surf in Internet and play movies 1080p is good for me. But I don't play games in my stick(no heavy games) so I can't give my opinion about games

I read thru the article you listed and my opinion, everyone has one , is that most these android devices are not ready for prime time use. I have two, a dual core and a quad core rk3188, which I have loaded and reload roms because one items is missing or not working. I'm all for open sources software but it would be nice to see roms built from past roms, with fixes and new adds. A cumulitve rom vs buffet style.
If you do not have some common sense, logic and computer experieince you miss out on any enhancements that may come. Upgrades that require the use of a tooth pic or pushing a button and worst of all MS Window's or Apple computer to load the firmware is a bit sad to say the least.
I'm not putting the products down but the use of the 80% rule would be nice and if these manufacturers want to make the big bucks, they're going to have to have more robust products.
I'm going to continue to tinker with my two and hope that one day a solid rom comes out for each.
