mxq pro 4k - not getting any further than recovery screen
i've been searching for hours now and I'm not getting any further...
today I received a mxq pro 4k s905x 1g/8g and I'm trying to install libreelec on it (instead of Android).
I've downloaded the firmware (LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-8.2.1.1.img.gz) extracted it and installed it with win32diskimager.
Read that there's no need to do anything with the dtb file, so left that one alone...
whatever I try it only reads the sdcard, no usb stick and it does nothing (using the toothpick method) but go to the recovery menu.
tried adding a dummy update zip file, made no difference...
I'm on the point of sending it back
hopefully there is somebody around here who has a solution before I do so...
