Hi,
i have the Nexbox A95X-B7N with amlogic s905x cpu and 1gb of ram and 8gb of rom.
i have already download the original IMG for recovery original firmware and android 6.0.1 (installed for default in this model).

but i have a problem:
I customize original IMG with "Customization Tool v2.0.8" in the level 2 of tmp folder i delete some pre-app like as facebook, twitter, youtube and i build new IMG
Then i flash this IMG to my box whit "USB Burning Tool v2.0.5.15" and the operation complete successful, but when i power on the box after the boot the system crash and show me prompt screen.

If i try to flash with original IMG the box restart very well and start with all functions.

Why? The Customization Tool is not just version?

Hello,

I think your Problem is the Customization Tool 2.0.8.
It can extract the Image but have Problems with packing of the Image.
Try it with this 2.0.10 Version from here --> http://freaktab.org/04f1cf352c614119

my steps are:

1. download from your link the Customization Tool v2.0.10
2. Open the original IMG
3. Delete all APK from "CustomizationTool_V2.0.10\tmp\level2\system\pre_a pp"
4. Save the new IMG
5. Open "USB Burning Tool v2.0.5.15" and load in the BOX
6. Operation complete without error

Okay good I see your Problem.
Now you need to go deep in the Rabbit Hole and do it with Linux.
It done cases the tool you use can't make an prober Image File.

You need at least an virtual machine with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and some tools from here:

https://github.com/khadas/utils?files=1

You need aml image packer and the tools simg2img and img2simg.
also install yourself the midnight Commander an file manager for the terminal.

open up an terminal and become super user with sudo su
First extract the firmware with the Aml tool after that you convert the system. Partition to IMG with simg2img
simg2img system.partition system.img
now make an Directory called system
Now you can mount it with mount -o loop system.img system
After that remove what you want
Unmount system
Transfer it back with img2simg system.img system.partition
Then repack the firmware Image with aml tool and burn it.

No you need an Linux. But you can install an VM there also.
