    Unpackaging firmware img file....

    Hi,

Sometime the firmwares are packaged with many files (kernel, boot, recovery, ...) and sometime its one big file that contains everything.

What I like when its packaged with many files is that you can try to combine one kernel with another ROM and so one.

So my question is... How to unpack a firmware that is packaged as one big file, in order to extract all the components?

    Ask uncle Google for "RK29xxImageTools_v2.1"

Is there a similar tool for 3288 devices?

        Edit: Found it!
