    1. download MX player ....

    4. make sure
    USE H/W+ decoder (check)
    H/W+ decoder (local) (check)
    H/W+ decoder (network) (check)

    5. install XBMC hardware accelerated

    xbmc-20130219-32e99c7-android-hwaccel..>
    6. go into XBMC then SYSTEM
    7. Video tap
    8. playback tap
    9. make sure (allow hardware acceleration (libstagefight) ) is on (check )

    a usefull site
Android TV is more than just launching basic apps. Find out exactly what an Android TV box is and how it can help you watch whatever you want!

Xbmc is a alpha release, you should also use the advancedsetting xml ( from xbmc section)
and perhaps add 'forcebuffer' and 'disableipv6'
    did you try...

    its abit more stable

    Mx-player has 3 option:
    software
    HW ( best option )
    HW+ ( black screen mostly)

V-player last update fixed alot of issues...HW with buffer set to max.. perhaps

1080 depents on a lot of factors...
if you realy seek help... you should post more info
like hardware used / what do you use to stream / codec / ....

Does this use the XBMC internal player or MX Player as external player? I don't see how changing settings in MX Player will make XBMC internal player work better.
